Patriot Ridge Skinner Knife 8" Premium Damascus with Blue Resin Handle

Skinner knives earned their trusted reputation from hunters who needed controlled cuts around hides and joints without risking damage to the meat. The Patriot Ridge Skinner Knife continues that same practical design as every Patriot Ridge Skinner we forge today. Blue resin handles became a trusted choice among knife makers for their durability and bold, standout color.

Hand-forged Damascus steel adds real forging tradition to this design, with each blade carrying its own distinct wave pattern once folded and etched.

Patriot Ridge Skinner Knife Blade

This Field Dressing Knife is hand forged from genuine Damascus steel, giving it both strength and a distinct wave pattern unique to each piece. At 4 inches, the blade is sized for controlled skinning and field dressing tasks. Full construction runs through the entire 4 inch handle for solid balance.

The Patriot Ridge Skinner Knife works well as a Rugged Skinner Blade for hunting, skinning, and general field dressing tasks. Clean and dry the blade after each use to prevent rust from forming on the Damascus pattern. Store it safely when not in use, and keep it away from children.

FAQs

Q: Why choose a curved skinner blade over a straight edge?

The curve allows smoother, more controlled cuts around hide and joints, which a straight blade struggles to match during skinning.

Q: Is blue resin a durable handle material?

Yes, resin resists moisture and wear better than some natural materials, making it a solid choice for regular field use.

Q: What makes Damascus steel unique on this knife?

Damascus steel is forged by folding layers of steel together repeatedly, creating a distinct wave pattern that makes each blade one of a kind.

Q: Is 8 inches a good size for skinning game?

Yes, this length offers enough control for detail work around hide and joints while handling larger tasks as well.

Q: Is the Patriot Ridge Skinner Knife good for gifting?

Yes, its bold blue handle and Damascus blade make it a standout gift for hunters and knife collectors.
