Online Workshop - Art with God, Healing After Trauma - 10 November, 10am EST

Trauma can leave us feeling disconnected from God. Research into trauma and the expressive arts suggests that creative practices can engage parts of the brain that words alone may not easily reach. Through art, movement, music, worship, and creative reflection, we can gently move beyond survival-mode patterns and create space for emotional processing, renewed connection, and healing.
In this gentle, faith-centered workshop, we’ll explore creative practices including Bible journaling, painting Scripture, paper crafts, movement, worship, and reflective discussion. These activities are designed to help you slow down, create, reflect, and reconnect with God in a safe and welcoming space.
No artistic experience is needed—just come as you are.
In this workshop, you’ll explore:
-
Creative Bible journaling techniques
-
Painting and responding to Scripture
-
Simple paper-craft activities
-
Movement and other forms of creative expression
-
Gentle practices for moving beyond survival mode
-
Ways to create space to reflect, listen, and reconnect with God
