Golden Drawing Ground allows artists to turn a wide variety of surfaces into receptive drawing surfaces. Apply it to canvas, wood panels, paper, or other prepared substrates to create a toothy, absorbent surface ideal for graphite, charcoal, colored pencil, pastel, and other dry drawing media.
Unlike a traditional gesso, Drawing Ground creates a texture specifically designed to grab and hold dry media, making it easier to build layers, create rich values, and achieve greater control in your drawings.
Its archival, water-based formula can be tinted with acrylic colors before application, giving artists the flexibility to create custom-toned drawing surfaces.
